Support the World's To-Do List

Where you are.

The seventeen goals are the world's to-do list, and the world is a hard thing to picture. So this page is about the place you are actually standing in. Put in a postcode and the organisations come back closest first, and underneath that are two measures of how your own country is doing, both published by people who show their working.

Find the ones near you

Put in a postcode or a town and the organisations come back grouped by how close they are, starting on your doorstep and widening out. Each group shows what is new at that distance, so nothing repeats as you go.

To see how this can look when we collaborate, try my town:

Your country, on two measures

The first is how much the Earth would have to provide if everybody lived the way your country does. The second is what the temperature has actually done where you are, year by year, for the last century and a half.

These two panels need a little bit of data that has not loaded. Both sources are worth going to directly: Earth Overshoot Day and #ShowYourStripes.

And the world as a whole

Whatever your country's date is, this is the one that counts, because there is only the one Earth doing the renewing.

Goal 13, Climate Action Goal 12, Responsible Consumption and Production All seventeen goals

What this page does not do yet

It stops at country level. Earth Overshoot Day is only published per country so that is as far down as that number goes, and the warming stripes go all the way down to towns but we are not wired into that yet - the link under each set will take you there in the meantime.
